Neuchâtel Hotels – Hotel La Maison du Prussien

Orselina Hotels – Hotel Mirafiori
It looks like many other holiday hotels in the popular Locarno area, high above Lake Maggiore. Yet the Mirafiori stands out for its warm welcome, its lush garden with swimming pool (superb views), and its excellent regional cooking. Some bedrooms are in hillside annexes; one is in its own, miniature cottage. N6644 Orselina, Via Al Parco TI.

Zurich Hotels – Claridge Hotel Tiefenau
Zurich is short on unusual hotels and sadly, this discreet 19thcentury house near the university doesn’t buck the trend.
