Set in a beautiful valley, this was originally built over a century ago for people coming to the sulphur springs. This ancient hostelry is by the river next to the bridge, with the terrace restaurant jutting out over the water. There is a medieval atmosphere: creaky wooden stairs, full-sized suits of armour, and old beams. Edi Schwegler’s food is very popular, especially his fish and game in season. Bedrooms are functional.
