When the blue sea and shiny sun with fantastic history and being seventy km. away from the Izmir airport,the blow from the sea cooling in the afternoon come together ,an important holiday resort come out.That is Kuşadası.
The island which has given the name to the town is not an island any longer because it connected to the mainland to defend the city in the history.The castle in the island is in good condition.The port and modern marina to which cruise ships approach serve for the boats and yatches..
When you walk into inner parts after turning your back on the sea ,you enter a crowded bazaar -market.In summer days every day there is a big crowd.English people sing drinking their beer.
Kadinlar Beach(ladies beach)
That was called Kadinlar sea before.Topless women fill the beach.The most popular beach with palm trees looks really very long and clear.You can find enough places to cater near the coast which is three km. away from Kuşadasi city center. On this coast a lot of Kusadasi hotels are available for tourists.
An aqua park opened behind hillside of the Tusan Hotel.You can entertain in the park which is open for twenty four hours,especially with your family.
Guzelchamli( twenty-three km. away),small and big Kalamaki(thirty km. away) are favorite beaches.The spring into the sea and mighty plane tree with the roots in the water are worth to see.Odun wharf and its beach can be reached only via boat tours.
In Kisik peninsula ,(an ioanian city)Lebedos remainings can be sighted.Cham port is suitable for yatches to anchor.
Dilek Peninsula national park
The peninsula which was decided to be a natural park in 1966 has got 11000 hectare natural area and you can spend all your day here between seven a.m and eight p.m. There are bays with picnic benches and barbecues .Enjoy it while walking into inner sides through paths or on the hills if you are not a visitor who likes sunbathing.Maybe that is a good oppurtunity for tracking.
Mammals like anatolian panthers, aurochs,wild boars,bobcats,fox,martens,coyotes,wolves and birds of prey such as dying eagles,hawks,falcons are found in the nature park.
If you want to climb the hills ,do not forget to take a guide knowing the district or join the safari tours in Kusadasi ,probably with jeeps.You can catch Kusadasi ferry to Antalya,Bodrum,Cemse,Istanbul,Izmir,Dalaman.Most tourists satisfy in holidays to kusadasi but property in Kusadasi seems expensive.
